Hi Roosevelt Raccoons! I am incredibly excited to be one of the Assistant Principals at Roosevelt School. Leading with empathy, kindness, and equity are priorities of mine. I am committed to ensuring all students receive the support and resources they need to be successful. I value learning from different cultures and backgrounds. I believe students bring in a whole wealth of knowledge through their own experiences.

I am originally from North Carolina and moved to California in 2016, where I began teaching in the Redwood City School District. I taught kindergarten for two years and most recently taught 2nd grade for four years here at Roosevelt. I love the community, students, staff, and families at Roosevelt. As a teacher, I was a part of the School Site Council, Leadership Team, and supported teachers through our district’s Induction Mentor program. Roosevelt has a special place in my heart and I am proud to be a Raccoon.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, hiking with our two dogs, yoga, board games, reading, and watching UNC Chapel Hill basketball.
