3rd Grade - Heon, Eryn

Erin Heon

About Me:

Hello! My name is Eryn Heon (Ms. Heon), I teach 3rd grade and absolutely love being a part of the Roosevelt team! Teaching is a passion of mine and I love seeing students grow academically and socially. I value building a strong classroom community, supporting one another, treating every individual with kindness and respect, and always creating a safe and happy space for my students.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, grew up in Pacifica and currently living on the Peninsula. I lived in Sonoma County while attending college, and loved the beautiful land, but my heart has always belonged to the Bay Area, I came back to my roots in Summer of 2019. When I am not teaching I love to workout, explore, spend quality time with my loved ones, and relax. I come from a family who lives and breaths sports, I have played a variety of sports, and love watching Bay Area sports any chance I get.
I graduated from Mercy Burlingame High school, continued my education at a four-year university. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Sociology from Sonoma State University and received my Multiple Subjects' Credentials at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont.
