About Me: Hello! My name is Ms. Lydia (Krooss) Pacheco and I’m SO excited to teach third grade at Roosevelt! I love books, math problem solving and PBL. But most of all, I love teaching and my students. I started teaching at Roosevelt in 2012 and have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. I also taught for two years in public schools in New York City. I was raised in San Francisco and now live in Redwood City with my wife Jessenia, son Javier, and three pets. I am passionate about teaching and have been fortunate to have many professional opportunities, such as serving as a mentor teacher for over 10 student teachers and leading many trainings for teachers.
