Mental Health Counselor - Herrera, Laura

Hola! My name is Laura Herrera, and I am the District Mental Health Counselor for Roosevelt Elementary. This is my first year at Roosevelt and just recently moved to the Bay Area from Los Angeles!I have 7 years of experience with children's mental health, and it is my absolute passion to work with students and families. I believe schools are such a fundamental part of a community, and provide an opportunity to connect, grow, and learn together. We are one team with the same goal in mind, our student’s overall wellness.  I love to travel, try new foods, and spend time with family and friends. I hope to build strong and positive relationships with you and your children this school year!
