Greetings!

My name is Linda Brinsfield, known to my students as Mrs. Brinsfield or Mrs. B. I’m so happy to be part of the Roosevelt community working as a reading specialist. In the past, I taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades, as well as P.E. Anyone who knows me has heard story after story about my students and teaching adventures…I absolutely LOVE being a teacher!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and now I’m back living in my childhood home. My husband and I have three (grown) children who were so lucky to be taught and nurtured during their early years by amazing teachers in the Redwood City School District. I enjoy hiking, arts/crafts projects, researching local history, baking, spending time with family and friends, and taking my extroverted golden retriever on walks downtown to greet all of his fans.
