GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR DISTRICT iPad. 

  1. Connect the iPad to WiFi. 
  2. If you are using a hotspot, set it up first. Follow the instructions on the “How to Access the WiFi Settings in the Hotspots?” handout that was included when you picked up the hot spot from the district. If you are not using a district hotspot, skip to step B. 
  3. Make sure the iPad is charged. Click on the Home button (the button on the bottom of the iPad). 
  4. Click on the Settings icon and click on “Wi-Fi.” 
  5. Move the Wi-Fi toggle button to green. 
  6. Below the toggle button you will see a list of available networks. 3. Select the network you are going to use (the one on your hotspot flyer or your own network).
  7. Enter the password if it asks for one. 
  1. After you have connected the iPad, continue to Clever. 
  2. Find the Clever app on your iPad. 
  3. Click on the Clever app. You will come to a login window. Put your Clever badge in front of the iPad screen. The iPad will read your badge and log you in
  4. Your Clever page will have a row of Favorite resources and at least one Teacher Page. If you do not see any applications under “Favorite resources,” scroll down. Each student’s page will look slightly different. Do not worry if you do not see these same resources on your page. 
  5. You will see additional links and bookmarks after you click on your teacher page. Each teacher’s page will look slightly different. Do not worry if you do not see these same resources on your page. 
  1. Or You Can Log On to Seesaw 
  2. Find the Seesaw app on your iPad. 
  3. Click on the Seesaw app. 

G.Select “Student.” 

  1. Scan your Clever badge in front of the iPad screen. Seesaw will read your badge and log you in.
